with Professor Tony Costa
September 23 and December 2, 2017
at First Baptist Church, Orillia

In cooperation with First Baptist Church Orillia, Heritage Theological Seminary presents Apologetics with Professor Tony Costa.

This course is intended to introduce and orient Christian believers to the field of apologetics through a broad spectrum of various subjects which will be examined. This course will offer both a theoretical and practical dimension to the field of apologetics so that the student can effectively apply what he / she has learned. It is designed to challenge critical thinking and provide scholarly handles from a Christian perspective to grapple with an assortment of difficult issues and questions which challenge the historic Christian faith in society.

These “bracket sessions” on September 23 and December 2 will be live with Professor Costa here at FBC, Orillia.  The rest of the sessions will then be completed on your own time via the internet.

We will also offer one afternoon session with Tim Kerr for facilitation and integration; this afternoon session will be aimed at pastoral students.  As well, we will offer 1 evening session with Tim Kerr for facilitation and integration; this evening session will be aimed at lay students.  The dates of these sessions will be decided on after discussion on September 23.

The facilitation and integration sessions with Tim Kerr should be considered “added value”. If you are not able to participate, it will not effect your course standing with Heritage.

Please register as soon as you are able. Remember, if you are a staff person or an intern at partner church with Heritage you get a 25$ discount!  When applying, use course code THS690.

We are looking forward to being with you in the fall!
