Aitken and Webster: Dominican Republic

In May of 2017, Ron Aitken and Pastor Evan Webster went to the Dominican Republic with the purpose of further establishing current partnerships, exploring further opportunities, and ministering to the pastors there. During the time there, God provided many divinely appointed meetings which were very fruitful. You can read a report of the areas of need along with prayer requests for each area here

Pastor Miguel Castillo has been a valuable partner in connecting our church to areas that we can be of significant help. Last year, we gave funds to help build a church plant in Los Toros which is in the poorest part of the country. This church is one of the only theologically sound churches in the southern region. Additionally, it is a very strategic place to be the first to train pastors in the southern region who are too poor to be able to travel into the capital city to be trained for ministry. Ron and Pastor Evan were able to see the first floor in construction and the windows installed because of the giving of FBC Orillia. Pastor Castillo has given a report of some of the ministry that is happening in these areas. You can read this report here
