Life is tough.  It is NOT "if" but "when" a storm comes.  It makes a difference where and on whom we build our life.  We are always building our lives on relationships.  Our upbringing may have been one of great instability.  The foundation for understanding who and whose we are may have crumbled.  We may have given our self over to false strategies for living life.  We may have had a good upbringing but have given our self over to a destructive lifestyle.  There is hope.  There is a possibility for lasting change.  Not simply being recovered but totally covered!  Addiction literally means to "give oneself over to".  It means to have given our self over to coping strategies that imprison and trap us in thinking and behaviour of bondage.  Who have you built your relationships on?  Addiction is a relationship.  There are many addictions.  It matters on whom you are building.  These 9 weeks are designed to discuss 9 building blocks in facing addictions.  It is for those who wish to understand addictions and those facing addictions.  This will be a tough 9 weeks, but it will be rewarding.  Please read through all the scriptures.  Take time to think and pray through them.
