Primary Path Small Groups

When Jesus left this earth he charged his followers with the Great Commission to ‘Go and make disciples of all nations’ (Matthew 28:19); but how do we do that? How do we fish for people and how do we make disciples? Considering how central the disciple making call is to the life of the church, it is strange how few good answers can be found for that question.

Primary Path is one answer to that question – it is not the only answer. Primary Path is a process of disciple making that takes advantage of the magic of small groups and the power of personal passions. Primary Path recognises that people grow best in community and people tend to build associations around personal interests and commonalties.

The groups are arranged around three colour coded categories.

Yellow

People at the Yellow stage are asking questions and interested in community, but are not ready to make a faith commitment.

Red

People at the Red stage are exploring whether a commitment is right for them. They are counting the cost and making a decision.

Blue

People in the Blue stage are preparing for service and trying to grow and become all that God has made them to be.

Before choosing a group, read the more detailed description of each group type in the next section.
