College and Career

Welcome to the description of our College and Career group at First Baptist Church in Orillia, Ontario! 

Philippians 4:8: Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things.

The When and Where: Wednesdays

Times:  6:30 - 7:58 pm at the FBC Portable (we minister to Jr. High)
then 8:00 - 9:30 pm at 139 Julia Cres (Jon & Nikki's house) for teaching, eating, and prayer

Who: If you are: 18 years old or older, finished with high school, in a Post Secondary Education institution, Skilled Trade, or "Between Positions", Seeking a closer relationship with God

Vision: To prepare young adults of today to further God's kingdom and glorify Him in everything that they do.

Mission: We will serve today's young adult community (College and Career) by meeting on a regular basis to study God's word and to worship God together, we will pray for each other on a daily basis, we will hold each other accountable to Christ's example, and we will demonstrate God's love through actions for the community. We will be proud in our belief in the Word of God, in Salvation based on grace, and in sharing Jesus' love for each other.
